This website is still a work in progress, but at the very least, it's a new start.
So, enjoy the visit and drop me a message if you like.
There is also a smaller site of thoughts I haven't maintained in a while.

THE FUTURE IS YOURS
What’s important at this moment is what you choose to think, choose to believe, and choose to say right now. These thoughts and words will create your future and your thoughts from the experiences of tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.
Psychologists and other social scientists have for a long time accepted the exciting fact that our thoughts, the things we say to ourselves, dictate what we become in life. Another exciting discovery is that ‘we control our future.’ unfortunately, many people do not believe this philosophy. Instead, they blame others for the things that happen to them in life. They refuse to accept responsibility for their thoughts, their actions, and their lives. One of the challenges we all face is to try to ensure that the things we say to ourselves are positive.
Unfortunately, more often than not, we engage in negative self-talk. What kinds of tings do you say to yourself? I want you to remember that you have control over everything you say to yourself, so you can choose to say good things (positive) or bad tings (negative).
Let me elaborate. Our brains are like computers. A computer accepts whatever we put into it and uses it in the future. In the same way, whatever we say to ourselves is programmed into our brain and becomes what we believe. For example, you tell your brain, “Oh I am bad at Math.” Your brain has no ability to deny that statement, so it records it and makes sure that when you face a mathematical problem, you can’t do it. Your subconscious then feels very proud of itself, so it says, “See! I did what you told me. I made sure you couldn’t do that problem.” Isn’t that interesting?
Some years ago, a teacher in the United States decided to do an experiment in her classroom with the permission of the parents of the children. She told her class that recent research had shown that children with blue eyes were doing much better in their work while those with brown eyes were doing worse. Then she made another announcement. She came to the class and said that she had made a mistake. It really was vice versa.
After another week, she found that the children with brown eyes then did much better than those with blue. Wasn’t that amazing? What do you think happened? The children believed what they were told and programmed their brains with that information they were told to believe – the power of suggestion. The switch seems like a miracle, doesn’t it? Like magic. Well, it is like magic, because we really become what we think we are. THE FUTURE IS YOURS.
Let me take some time now to give you something that I will call the ‘Formula for Success’ – a term I borrowed from a psychologist. PMA + GOALS = SUCCESS. You have probably heard a lot about the word ‘attitude,’ but I want to remind you that your attitude affects everything you do in life. In fact, no matter how smart you are if you have a negative attitude, you will not do well, or as well as you could do.
According to Dr. Dennis Waitley in his book “The Psychology of Winning,” winners expect to win. People who have POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDES (PMA) believe they can win, and there are three key reasons why will win: DESIRE, SELF CONTROL, and PREPARATION. Dr. Waitley also talks about the role of the positive image in relation to the winning attitude.
He believed:
What you see is what you get.
Who you feel is who you are.
Winners feel like winners. They see through the eyes of winners. There is no doubt in their mind that they will succeed. They have got that positive attitude.
REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE WHAT YOU EXPECT TO BE.
The second part of the formula deals with GOALS. Approximately one in every hundred people in the world is a winner and they all seem to have one very important trait. They have a plan for their lives. They have goals. They know about the 5P Principle – Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
They also know that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Of course, there are some people who have goals which get them nowhere, but their goals might be to watch television and so they rush through whatever they are doing to achieve their goals of sitting down and watching television stars pursue their careers and goals. That’s not the kind of goals that I’m referring to here.
Winners plan their lives. I’m sure that all of you practiced a program and then had the actual performance. Some people act as if life is a rehearsal for a performance later. They don’t realize that this life is it. You have only one life, so it’s important to plan how you want to spend it right now. You are unique. There is no one else just like you anywhere and there is no life just like yours anywhere on Earth. Make it special. THE FUTURE IS YOURS.
In conclusion, if you would like to be a winner, you have got to develop a winning attitude. Think about some of the concepts discussed here. Keep an open mind. As someone once said, “The mind is like a parachute. It functions only when opened.” There are ten two-letter words, which are all important and all you need in your life. Repeat them to yourself until they become part of your subconscious: IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME.
