| Another Year, Another Chance by Dellwyn Oseana This year might have been tough, And our lives might have seemed rough. Yet, we were able to see another sunny day, And we were able to have some work and play. Some of us feel that Christmas is a time for smiles, A time for happy thoughts and giving thanks to all. But might it not be simply a summary of the miles, You walked this year even when you wanted to fall. Let Christmas be a time when we thank the Divine, and whomever we know is that inspiration in our hearts. Sometimes we fail to see that some bright lights blind, Or fail to stop taking all this stress and give it a fart. Another year and another chance, That's the tale of this simple dance. Each year is another moment for us to feel just swell. And a chance to thank everyone who was with us as well. And to remember that we are never alone, Even without love or comfort in our home. We still have hope to do better next year. And we must press on without any fear. We are placed in this world for just one reason. To enjoy our daily lives no matter the season. Share your love and forget your mistakes of 2003. 2004 is coming with another chance for you to just be. Merry Christmas from a guy who has seen too much sometimes. And a Happy New Year from your forever and ever friend. A guy who always looks for that one reason to smile. A guy who knows that tough days always come to an end. |
